"The number of live births reported in Delhi as per CRS (Civil Registration System) in 2013 is 3,66,483. As per Officer of Registrar General of India (RGI), Sample Registration System (SRS) report of 2013, the IMR of Delhi is 24 per 1,000 live birth," Health Minister J P Nadda said.
To reduce death due to child malnutrition, the government has taken up specific activities under the National Health Mission which includes setting up of Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres (NRCs) to treat severe acute malnourished as 11 such centres have been established in Delhi, Nadda said.
