3 constables injured as villagers attack police team

At least three constables were injured when locals attacked a police team which was accompanying local officials on a land survey trip in the Sector 49 area of Noida, Uttar Pradesh home officials said.
The police team was accompanying the SDM and Circle Officer of Dadri to Sarekha village where the latter were to measure a plot of land in compliance with high court orders.
But incensed by their arrival, irate villagers brick-batted the police team and set their jeep on fire, officials here said.
