Taking a serious note of the incident, Inspector Sukhpura Suresh Singh, outpost in-charge Ram Dinesh Tiwari and Sepoy Salahari Yadav have been suspended, Superintendent of Police Anis Ansari said.
Two persons died while 15 others were taken ill on Friday night after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Dharhara village.
Locals had complained that a candidate of the upcoming Gram Pradhan elections had thrown a party in the village where the victims had allegedly consumed spurious liquor.
A case has been lodged against unidentified persons, Ansari said adding probe was underway while a magisterial inquiry had already been ordered.
