3 drug peddlers held with poppy straw in J-K

Three drug peddlers from Chhattisgarh were today arrested and 2.70 kg of poppy straw was recovered from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district.
Acting on a specific information, police arrested three persons and recovered 2.70 kg of poppy from them in Ramgarh area here, a police officer said.
The accused have been identified as Lalit, Sahil Kumar and Atama Ram, all hailing from Chhattisgarh, he said, adding a case has been registered against them and further investigations are underway.
