3 foetuses found in drainage channel

In an alleged case of foeticide, three foetuses were seen floating today in a drainage channel in the district, police said.
Residents of Thuvarankurichi near Manaparai saw the foetuses floating one behind another in the channel. The residents then informed the police.
Health department workers retrieved the foetuses and are holding investigations in hospitals in and around the locality, police said.
