Three ganja-peddlers were arrested from different areas here on Saturday and nearly five kg of the contraband was seized from them on Saturday, police said.
Based on a tip-off, one of the peddlers was caught early this morning and 1.1 kg of the narcotic seized from him while his associate escaped, but was later arrested with three kg of ganja and Rs 3,500 in cash, they said.
Further investigations led to the arrest of another accused and seizure of 1.2 kg of the drug, they added.
