Naresh alias Deva, Naresh Kumar and Brijesh Kumar were arrested in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh by Delhi Police which then claimed to have solved a case of robbery reported in Jaitpur in UP and four instances of auto thefts in Sarita Vihar area in south-east Delhi.
Deva and Naresh had allegedly stolen the vehicles and sold it to Brijesh, they said.
Based on a tip-off, the police laid a trap at New Roadways bus stand and nabbed Dev and Naresh, who were found riding a vehicle allegedly stolen from Sarita Vihar, along with Brijesh there.
During interrogation, the arrested men said they had stolen the motorcycle from Sarita Vihar police station area and sold it to Brijesh.
They further said they had also robbed a motorcycle, a mobile phone and money from a person on Agra Canal Road in the area of Jaitpur and sold the same to Brijesh.
