three persons in connection with a group clash in Mehendipur locality under Lalbag police station here today.
Groups of one community clashed in the morning over a local issue in which at least four persons from both the groups were injured.
"The situation in the locality is normal but as a precautionary measure a platoon of armed police under the supervision of two local officers are now deployed in Mehendipur", Inspector of Police Debadutta Baral said.
