Krishna Kumar, 26, of Bengaluru, Veerababu, 32, of Andhra Pradesh and 47-year-old Kamalatha from Kanyakumari, were arrested last week and lodged in Puzhal Central jail here.
As the three accused had served jail term thrice in the past for the same offence, they were detained under the Goondas Act, under which bail cannot be obtained for a minimum period of one year, a police release said.
Acting on a tip off, a special police team had nabbed the three from different locations in the city and rescued six women forced into prostitution.
