The accident took place this morning when the driver of the SUV, travelling to Chinyalisaur from Rajputon, lost control near Timli Chowk causing the vehicle to plunge into a 33 m-deep gorge.
Three persons identified as Bhagwan Singh (38), Khushal Singh (60) and Mahavir Lal (58) were killed on the spot, Lambgaon Station In-charge J P Kohli said.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, he said.
