The fire broke out at 3 AM on the sixth floor of Cambay Sapphire hotel killing Rahul Doshi of Udaipur, Saurabh Chouhan from Gurgaon and Suhag Nath, who worked in Faridabad, Alwar Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar told PTI over phone.
While two of them died of suffocation, one was burnt alive, he said, adding that there were 22 persons on the seventh floor of the hotel when the fire broke out.
"At 3.30 AM, we got the news that the hotel has caught fire and police and administration officials reached there. Within ten minutes, the fire brigades had reached," said Alka Bishnoi, SDM Neemrana.
The rescue operation lasted for seven to eight hours until we were sure there is nobody in the hotel, she said.
Five water vans were pressed into action this morning to control the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the SP said.
