Three persons including an elderly woman and her daughter-in-law were killed when the e-rickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a truck here on Sunday, police said.
The accident occurred on Shahpur Road under Mansurpur Police Station in the evening and five other passengers of the rickshaw were seriously injured, according to police.
Lado(55), her daughter-in-law Nisha (28) and Rajender (18) perished in the accident while the injured were shifted to a hospital.
