Reports reaching here said that two persons were killed in separate incidents of house collapse in Kalvalgaj and Aau villages in Banda and one in Pilibhit where lightning struck in Sunderpur village.
The Met office said that light to moderate rain and thundershowers occurred at isolated places over the state with very heavy rain at isolated places over west UP.
The amount of rainfall recorded in cms are Mahroni - 17, Lalitpur - 5, Zamania, Mauranipur - 3 each, Chandauli, Nawabganj and Jhansi - 2 each.
