3 nabbed with contraband worth Rs 1 crore

Three persons were arrested with 70 kg charas, worth around Rs 1 crore in the street market, on Indo-Nepal border in Mahrajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, police said here.
Acting on a tip off, a special operation cell team, headed by Circle Officer Rama Sanker Pandey, intercepted the trio at Sanauli and recovered the contraband which they were carrying in three refined oil boxes, Pandey said.
Durga Shah and Hafiz, hailing from Nepal, and Pradeep form Siwan district in Bihar were arrested, he said.
