The trio were found moving around suspiciouly by forest personnel during combing operations. On being challenged, they took to their heels, but were chased and nabbed, Harur Divisional Forest Officer S Ramasubramanian said
The trio on being questioned reportedly said they planned to hunt deer in the area.
They were arrested and later handed over to police, along with the gun and explosives.
