30 school students injured in bus accident

Thirty school students were injured when the steering of a bus of a private school malfunctioned and it dashed against a heap of bricks near village Bherian, about 40 km from here today.
Some staff members, including bus driver Satish and conductor Mahipal, were also injured in the accident and they were admitted to a private hospital in Hisar, police said.
The incident occurred when two buses of a private school in Bhiwani district carrying the students were going for a picnic at an amusement park in Talwandi Rana village.
When the buses reached near village Bherian, the steering of one of the bus malfunctioned and it dashed against a heap of bricks lying along the road.

The staff and students of the other bus pulled out the injured and took them to hospitals in Azad Nagar and in Sector-15 while some injured students were taken to Civil hospital Hisar.
