Navin Kumar Gupta sprinkled kerosene and set himself ablaze last night. He was rushed to district hospital in a serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries, Dy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Singh said.
Gupta had come to the village to take his wife back on July 6 but his in-laws refused to do so, Singh said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
