The victim, identified as Rambir, went missing on August 23 from his house in Sanjay Nagar area here, police said.
Rambir's father had lodged a complaint that he was abducted by an unidentified person, they said.
Meanwhile, two complaints have been lodged in two separate incidents of chain snatching.
In the first incident, some motorcycle-borne men had snatched a woman's chain while she was walking near Ashoka enclave here, police said.
In the second incident, a woman has lodged a complaint that an unidentified man snatched her chain, they added.
