The procession started from Gurudwara Bibi Chand Kaur and culminated at the Nanak Nagar Gurudwara after passing from various parts of the city.
"In Jammu, the tradition of taking out 'Nagar Kirtan' to celebrate the birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru started several years ago and since then it is going on without any break," a devotee said.
Students from various schools and colleges across Jammu region participated in the religious procession.
Elaborate security arrangements were kept in place to thwart any untoward incident.
