"Seventy three projects are in stalled position," Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Pon Radhakrishnan said in the House, adding that of these, about 39 projects have been terminated while the others have been reviewed or reawarded.
In his written reply, he said the government has recently taken several policy measures to revive the stalled national highway projects.

The Minister said that assistance will be provided by the National Highway Authority of India from its overall budget corpus on a loan basis for a short tenure at bank rate of over 2 %.
