In the past three days, 24 judges to five high courts have been appointed.
The appointments come just over a week after the Supreme Court slammed the Centre for not appointing judges to high courts.
The government has since informed the apex court that it has cleared 34 names out of the 77 recommended by the Supreme Court collegium for appointment as judges in various high courts.
