4 arrested, 76 cartons of liquor seized

Four persons have been arrested and 76 cartons of liquor, being smuggled from Haryana, seized from them at Kandhla town in Shamli district, police said today.
During a checking on Kairana Road yesterday, a vehicle was intercepted and 76 cartons of liquor were seized, Superintendent of Police Ajaypal said.
Four persons, Furkan, Shamsher, Pintu and Sanjay have been arrested, while two others managed to escape from the spot, the police officer said.
