4 cases of leprosy detected in Mizoram

Four cases of leprosy were detected in Mizoram since April last year till January this year, state health department officials today said.
Of the leprosy cases detected, three were identified in southern most Lawngtlai district and one in south Mizoram's Lunglei district, the officials said.
Eleven cases were detected between April 2014 and March 2015 in Lawngtlai, Lunglei and Saiha districts, the officials said.
The patients belonged to the Chakma community who were suspected to have been infected from their relatives in Bangladesh, the officials said.
