4-day intl construction machinery show from Dec 15-18 in NCR

A four-day international exhibition of construction equipment machinery will be held in Greater Noida in the National Capital region from December 15.
The US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers has joined hands with Messe Munchen, a leading organiser of global trade fairs, to form BC India that will hold the event 'BC India - A bauma CONEXPO show'.
Over 700 global and domestic makers of construction equipment are expected to participate in the show.
"BC India after two successful shows in Mumbai has decided to shift the venue to NCR Delhi for the show as the companies are hopeful that the new government's focus on infrastructure development will lead to a boom in the sector," BC Expo India CEO Igor Palka told PTI.

Palka said the venue for the third such fair was shifted to Greater Noida from Mumbai on account of Delhi being the seat of power where big infrastructure projects are conceived and where leading global and domestic corporations had their offices.
"More than 700 players in the field are expected to exhibit their equipment in the show as India has been increasingly attracting the attention of global players for its huge infrastructure growth potential," he said.

Seven national pavilions - China, Germany, Korea, the US, Italy and Spain-- are already being planned at India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, he added.

The range of products will include construction and earth moving machines, lifting appliances and conveyors, mining, extraction and processing of raw materials machines, equipment for producing concrete, concrete products and pre-fabricated components among others.
The last event in February 2013 in Mumbai attracted a total of 710 companies from 33 countries and more than 28,000 trade visitors.
