4-day Marathi Vigyan Adhiveshan to be held from Dec 16

Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidhyasagar Rao will inaugurate the 51st Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Vigyan Adhiveshan, to be held here from December 16.
The four-day conclave is being organised by Marathi Vigyan Parishad at two venues in the city -- Dadoji Konddeo stadium and Gadkari Rangayatan, president of Thane chapter of the parishad, Dr H S Bhanushali told reporters.
The programme will be formally inaugurated on December 17 by the Governor, he said.
On the opening day on December 16, a tableaux 'Vigyan Dindi' comprising literature and exhibits on various topics of science will be taken across the city, while an exhibition will also be held at a school.
In the evening, Chairman of ISRO Dr A S Kiran Kumar will address a gathering wherein he will highlight the journey of ISRO since its inception and future plans, Bhanushali said.
Besides, activities like seminars, penal discussions, presentations, symposia on varied subjects in science, environment, health, education will also be held.
