4 held for lifting sand from Ganga canal

Four persons were arrested for allegedly lifting sand illegaly from Ganga canal at Jaipur village in the district, police said today.
The arrest was made last evening by the police who also seized four sand-loaded tractor trolleys from the area under Mundet Bhopa police station, they said.
The four are identifed as Shakeel, Hussain, Shakat shakat, and Saleem.
