Four people were arrested for allegedly running a fake job racket here, police said today.
The gang used to pose as CBI officials and dupe unemployed youths. They charged Rs 50 thousand from each after claiming to give them jobs, Senior Suprintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said.
The gang has duped around one dozen people in the area.
A case has been registered against the accused, the SSP said.
The police have recovered forged documents of the CBI, stamps, letter pads, appointments letters, identity cards of the CBI and one laptop from their possession which was used to prepare fake documents.
