Led by Musaboni Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bachandeo Kujjur, a bomb disposal squad searched the polling centre in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency and found the four IEDs each weighing between two-and-half kg and three kg.
Kujjur said the polling centre was shifted to a nearby building at the last minute before starting of voting yesterday after securitymen found a wire near the centre.
However, search operation could not be carried out there yesterday as the bomb disposal squad were engaged in other parts of the sub-division.
The Maoists have given a poll boycott call in the state.
