4 killed after boulder falls during construction work

Four persons, including two Border Roads Organisation (BRO) personnel, were killed today after a heavy boulder fell on them during road construction work in in Joshimath area of Chamoli district, police said.
Their bodies have been found on the banks of Dhouliganga river, Joshimath police station SHO Ashok Kumar said.
The incident took place in Raini near Joshimath area after an explosion was carried out by the workers in the area for roadways construction, he said.
The deceased include a helper and an operator of BRO and two locals. Their identity is yet to be ascertained, Kumar said.
