4 killed in SUV-truck collision
Four persons were killed and seven others injured when an SUV collided with a truck in Ramgarh district today, the police said.
Altogether 11 persons hailing from Saunda under Patratu block were going to Ranchi in the SUV when the accident occurred.
A speeding truck hit their vehicle on Patratu valley killing the four -- the driver of the SUV, a woman and two minor girls -- and leaving seven persons injured, police said.
The injured were initially brought to a hospital in Patratu.
Two of them were later referred to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences at Ranchi, police said.
