4 of family killed as fireworks explode in house

Four members of a family were killed and another was injured when the fireworks they were illegally manufacturing at their house exploded in Kansuri village here, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday in Raheesh's house where his family members were manufacturing the fireworks. Some crackers caught fire from a LPG gas stove and exploded which caused the house collapse, police said.
Munisha Begum (65), Allahnoor(18), Alinoor(8) Chotu (25) yesterday died on the spot while Asif (18) was rushed to Saifai hospital in serious condition, they said, adding the bodies were recovered after removing the debris.
Raheesh and his wife were not present in the house when the incident occurred.

The locals alleged that Raheesh, who is the village chowkidar, had been manufacturing fireworks illegally for last 20 years.
ASP Visrajan Singh Yadav said it is being investigated that how the manufacturing of fireworks was going on without licence and who supplied raw material.
