On specific information, the police during patrolling in R S Pura border belt of the district intercepted four persons and asked them to stop, an official said.
They tried to run away but the police party chased them down, the official said,
About six grammes of heroine, four syringes, foil papers, small weighing machine, four cigarette lighters and four burnt currency notes were recovered from their possession, the official added.
Those arrested have been identified as Narinder Kumar alias Techi, Sunil Kumar, Anil Kumar and Roshan Lal, the policeman said, adding all four persons along with seized items have been handed over to police station R S Pura.
