The four identified as Mohsin, Shadab, Shahrukh and Pintu, all residents of Meerut, were arrested when they were trying to loot the passengers, GRP station officer Ashok Kumar said.
A knife was among the objects seized from them.
The accused would usually target people onboard passenger trains and rob them of their wallets and other valuables, he said, adding that they accepted to have committed many such crimes.
