Deepak, a neighbour, allegedly lured the girl by offering her candy and took her to his house and allegedly raped her on Friday evening at Samain village near Tohana, police said.
The mother of the victim had come to her parents' house at Samain village last week.
The incident came to light when girl's mother started searching her daughter and reached Deepak's house where she found that accused was doing the shameful act with the child.
Deepak was arrested and he admitted to have committed the crime, SHO Pradeep Kumar said.
