40 children taken ill after consuming poisonous seeds

Over 40 children were taken ill after consuming poisonous seeds at Sahawli village under New Mandi police station in the district.
Police said the children aged between four to 12 years had gone to play in a nearby jungle yesterday where they consumed the seeds.
They soon complained of headache, vomiting and fever and were rushed to the district hospital, police said.
Four of them were referred to Meerut hospital, police sources said.
Rest others are out of danger now, they said.
