40 IPS officers shifted in Rajasthan

In a major reshuffle after it returned to power in Rajasthan around a month ago, the Vasundhara Raje government today transferred as many as 40 IPS officers, including the Director General of Police (Jail), 11 Additional Director Generals (ADG), ten Inspector Generals (IG).
H C Meena, who was shifted to DGP-Jail post immediately after Vasundhara Raje took oath last month, has now been made the DGP in Home Guard and Civil Defence.
ADG (Traffic) Manoj Bhat has been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Ajit Singh, the ADG (ACB), has been moved to Police Headquarters as ADG-Crime.
Sachin Mittal, the ADG in Jaipur Police Commissionerate, will now be the Jodhpur Police Commissioner.
Jaipur Police Commissioner Bhupendra Kumar Dak has been shifted to the Jail department as ADG. Janga Sriniwasan Rao, holding ADG post in Human Rights, would now be the Jaipur Commissioner.
Five Superintendent of Police (SPs) who were recently promoted to DIG post were also shifted. They are Rohit Mahajan (Mines department), Vipul Chaturvedi (DIG-ACB), K Bahadur Singh Kapoor (DIG-Jail), Ashok Naruka DIG-CID:CB), and Shiv Lal Joshi (DIG-Jail). Smita Srivastava, DIG-ACB, has been promoted to IG in ACB itself.
Biju George Joseph, who was Commissioner of Jodhpur, has been placed as IGP-Bharatpur Range.
Of the ADGs, Kapil Garg has been shifted as ADG of State Crime Record Bureau, Nand Kishore as ADG in Police Training, Sunil Kumar Mehrotra as ADG in Police Planning and Modernisation, Sudhakar Johri as ADG in Traffic department, Dalpat Singh Dinkar as ADG Home Guard and Civil Defence, Rajiv Kumar Dasot as ADG-Armed Battalion, Mohan Singh Lathar as ADG in Police Housing, Utkal Ranjan Sahu as ADG-Intelligence, K Narsimha Rao as ADG- Railways, N Morish Babu as ADG in Anti-Human Trafficking, and Indra Kumar Bhushan as ADG-rules.
Umesh Mishra, recently promoted, has been appointed as ADG of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. IGPs who have been shifted are Dharam Chand Jain, Saurabh Srivastava, Rajesh Nirwan, Amrit Kalash, Anil Paliwal, Anand Kumar Srivastav, Janardan Sharma, L N Meena, Nisar Ahmed Farooqui, and G N Purohit.
DIGs who have transferred included Giriraj Lal Mena, Girdharilal Sharma, Bipin Kumar Pandey, and Alok Kumar Vashistha.
