Two people were arrested for allegedly selling liquor at the high-security CGO complex at Lodhi Road and 400 bottles of liquor were seized from their possession, officials.
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials, who guard the high-security complex which houses the headquarters of many CAPFs, the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and ministries, conducted a raid last evening, acting on inputs that liquor was being sold illegally on the campus by certain people.
The raid at a generator room led to the recovery of 400 rum and whisky bottles, cleverly stashed in the furniture and other items, a senior CISF officer said.
S K Singh and Amit Kumar, who worked as operators at the generator room, were apprehended for allegedly selling liquor to the people working inside the campus.
Singh, a resident of Bihar's Buxar and Aligarh resident Kumar, were handed over to the police, along with the liquor bottles, the officer said.
The two were placed under arrest by the police, he added.
