A police party observed two vehicles parked in suspicious conditions on the B C Road in the city and during the search seized five packets containing one kg of heroin each from them, he said
Five persons, two from Punjab and three from Kashmir, were arrested and Rs 1.5 lakh was also seized from their possession, the officer said.
A case has been registered and investigations initiated, he added.
