5, including 3 of family, killed in separate road mishaps

Five persons, including three of a family, have been killed in separate road mishaps in the Greater Noida area, police said today.
Three persons were today killed when the car they were travelling in turned turtle on Yamuna Expressway and rolled over to the other side of the divider, hitting four other vehicles, police said, adding that the mishap took place near the Sports City complex.
Harjit Singh, a resident of Chandigarh, was in the vehicle, along with his wife Navjit Singh, sister Jaswinder Kaur, daughter Brahleen and son Anmol, police said, adding that they were returning to Chandigarh from Agra when the accident occurred.
Navjit, Jaswinder and Brahleen were killed in the incident, police said.
Some of the occupants of the other vehicles too received injuries in the incident, they said, adding that they were rushed to the hospital.
In another incident near Galgotia college, a B.Tech student was killed as an unidentified vehicle hit the two-wheeler he was riding on, police said.
The incident occurred last night, they said, adding that the deceased was identified as Rahul.
At the time of the incident, Rahul was travelling with two of his friends who too received injuries and were admitted to a hospital, police said, adding that their condition was stable.
In yet another incident, a motorcyclist, Imtiaz Khan, was killed last night as an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle on GT Road in Dadri, police said.
Imtiaz, a resident of Bulandshahr, was proceeding towards Ghaziabad at the time of the incident, they added.
