5 kg charas seied; 2 held

Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested and 5 kg of charas was seized from their possession in Anantnag district of Kashmir.
A naka in Achabal area of the district was laid this morning following a tip off about drug peddlers trying to transport some contraband substance through the area, a police official said.
During searches, two persons were found carrying five kg of charas. They were arrested and booked under section 8/20 of the NDPS Act, he said.
