In the first case, Jewar Police today arrested two liquor smugglers and seized 1,450 liquor bottles smuggled from Haryana.
Three liquor smugglers were nabbed by Bisrakh police last night and 70 cartons of Indian made foreign liquor were seized from their possession, police said.
District Excise Officer Kuldeep Yadav said, "Due to Deepawali festivals liquor mafias have increased their activities and bringing the cheap Haryana made liquor to sell in UP towns."
