5 men attack former village head's home to extort money

A group of miscreants opened fire on former village head's house here to extort money from him at Bhabisa village in Shamli district, police said.
The incident happened yesterday when five miscreants opened fire on former village head Surepal's house, according to the complaint lodged with the police by Sureshpal.
A case has been registered against one Ashu who demanded extortion money of Rs 5 lakh from Sureshpal.
