The accused include three men and two minors.
"The five accused were apprehended in a park in Rohini today at around 4 AM," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) M N Tiwari said, adding the three men were arrested while the minors were detained.
Two knives used in the crime have also been recovered.
During the investigation, the officer said, the accused confessed to have committed the crime.
"On April 9 night, when they were inebriated, they saw the victim, Raju alias Golgappa, returning with his rehri of golgappas and asked him to serve chat in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri area. When Raju refused, they got infuriated and then brutally stabbed him," he said.
Raju, who was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri by his father and brother, succumbed to injuries two hours later, he said.
