5 poachers arrested

Five poachers carrying arms and ammunition were arrested in the Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park, a forest department official said today.
They were nabbed from Bessimari area of the park last night, Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park Range Officer Chakrapani Ray said.
Security guards recovered one .303 rifle, 22 rounds live cartridges, laser light, dagger, one silencer pipe, some ration and a few papers from the poachers, Ray said.
