5 students suspended for coming to school after booze

In a shocking incident, five students of a government boys higher secondary school in neighbouring Tirupur allegedly came drunk to their classes and have been suspended for ten days from today.
The five students of class XI and XII of Nanjappa Municipal Boys Higher Secondary School were suspended following an inquiry by District Chief Educational Officer S Murugan during which 30 students were questioned, officials said.
The inquiry revealed that the five students also burst crackers in the school campus when classes were being held. They were also found smoking.
The incident of students coming drunk to school has sent shock waves among the parents.
