Acting on the complaints of locals, police conducted several raids in various areas of R S Pura belt from where five thieves were arrested, he said.
Five motorcycles, one laptop and some gold ornaments were recovered from them, he said.
The thieves have been identified as Vikram Choudhary, Karnail Singh, Rachpal, Akshay Kumar and Pinku alias Kaka, he added.
Cases have been registered against them and further investigation started, the officer said.
