50-year-old man killed bear before succumbing to injuries

Mulia Biswal along with his granddaughter was going to a mango grove in Bisoi village when the bear chased them. Mulia's fear-stricken granddaughter managed to flee the spot and informed the villagers.

When the villagers reached the spot, they found the wild animal dead and the man critically injured with his scalp out, inspector-in-charge, Parjang, Pradipta Kumar Das said.

He was immediately taken to the government hospital at Parjang where doctors pronounced him dead.
