"48 men and 4 women were caught from the gardens of two hotels on Ajmer highway late last night. The hotel staffer were serving them liquor in open premises (gardens) for which they had no license," DCP Rahul Jain said.
Additional DCP Karan Sharma said that the hotels had bar license but not for serving the liquor in the open.
However, no action was taken against the hotels by the police officers as it was not under their jurisdiction.
All the 52 people were taken into custody under section 151 of CrPC (Arrest to prevent the commission of cognisable offences) and released on bond subsequently.
