Services of 53 trains including Delhi-Shamli, Jind-Ferozpur, Moradabad-Barelli, Kanpur-Prayagraj, Haridwar-Rishikesh have been cancelled for 10 days and six trains such as Amritsar-Hoshiarpur, Delhi-Sitapur are partially cancelled, said a Northern railway official.
The dense fog continued to affect the time schedule of 37 trains with many running late by more than 10 hours.
While Mahabodhi is running 22 hours late, Purvottar Sampark Kranti and Mahananda are running nine and 10 hours behind the schedule.
Railways have made arrangements to help stranded passengers at stations. More inquiry counters and additional helpline are being made operational to update commuters about train timings affected due to fog.
