6 injured as car ploughs into students taking out rally

Six persons, including two students, were today injured when a car ploughed into a group taking out an environment awareness rally here.
Hundreds of students of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Degree College were taking out the rally from Jamunipur when the car coming from Varanasi rammed into the marchers, inspector Ajay Srivastava said.
He said that the car driver fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
Srivastava said that two students with serious injuries were referred to Varanasi.
